Jaime Gomez

Jaime G. Gomez is the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA). In his current position, Mr. Gomez plays a leadership role in the organization’s strategic planning and innovation activities. In addition, he has oversight responsibility for CHFA’s business operations, which includes affordable housing and community development investment activities, marketing and community relations, research and strategy, loan servicing, and asset management functions. CHFA’ loan production activities total more than $2.3B annually, through its single family mortgage operation, multifamily lending, low income housing tax credit allocation, and the small business lending functions. Mr. Gomez earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has completed Executive Leadership programs at both the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and the University of Denver. Gomez currently serves on the Board of Directors for Mercy Loan Fund (current Vice Chair), including serving on Mercy Housing’s National Strategic Planning Oversight Committee. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors for Housing Colorado, the Colorado Health Foundation’s Housing Advisory Committee, and is a voting member of Governor Polis’ Financial Review Committee for economic development.
