Athena Lunsford

Athena Lunsford is the Compliance Operations Section Chief for Program Compliance at OHFA, leading a team of 25 housing auditors and support staff to advance OHFA’s mission of opening doors to an affordable place to call home. She has held this position at OHFA since November 2017, and was previously a compliance manager since July 2016. Other previous roles include: housing choice voucher manager/caseworker, leasing supervisor, occupancy coordinator, leasing specialist and leasing clerk. Athena has been in the affordable housing world for over 23 years, starting her career at Stark Metropolitan Housing Authority in the late 90’s. Athena holds certifications in the following: HCCP, SCHM, NDC Rental Housing Development Finance Certification, HCV Specialist, HCV Financial Accounting and Reporting Specialist, HQS Inspection, PH Manger, PH Eligibility and Rent calculations, Project Based Management Essentials Specialist and Fair Housing and Administrative Review Training.
