Jennifer Marchand started her career in the affordable housing industry in 1997 when she started working for a large property management company on the Oregon Coast managing a large portfolio of RD, Section 8, LIHTC, HOME, HOME TBRA, conventional and commercial properties. Previous to that she worked in the banking industry. In 2003 she joined OHCS as a Compliance Officer and today serves as the OHCS Multifamily Program Compliance Technical Advisor. Jennifer serves on the Oregon AHMA board as a liaison for OHCS and has conducted or participated in numerous trainings and panels across the state of Oregon as well as on a national level for the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA). Jennifer holds a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation from the National Homebuilders Association and various other industry designations. She also serves on the HCCP Board of Governors. In her free time she volunteers with homeless clients served by the United Gospel Mission.
