As Director of Government Affairs for the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA), Larry serves as the primary lobbyist for NAHMA’s public policy positions with federal regulatory agencies and Congressional Committees that oversee $50 billion in federal investment in affordable housing and community development programs. Prior to joining NAHMA, Larry worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for nine years (2006-2015) in the Office of Multifamily Housing and the Office of Public and Indian Housing. Larry is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a B.A. in political science and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration. Larry is also currently pursuing his MBA at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
