Christina Maryland is a strategic PR/marketing communications professional based in the greater Boston area. Specializing in nonprofit and government marketing, branding, and positioning, Christina helps organizations organize, unify, and raise their brand through targeted and strategic planning. She is well-versed and savvy in implementing integrated (traditional and digital) PR/marketing campaigns to organically raise an organizational profile with the public.
Presently, Christina works for the Natick Public Schools as communications director managing all district marketing, PR, and branding. In addition to running her own successful startup consultancy, brandAID PR & marketing consulting, Christina works with Kelley Chunn & Associates and Social Good Marketing as a strategic communications partners and collaborators.
While working within various organizations, Christina currently sits on the Advisory Board for the Marketing Department at Fisher College, on the executive board of the Public Relations Society of America – Boston Chapter, and is a seasoned public speaker. She has had the opportunity to develop workshops on various communications, marketing, and PR topics.
Some of her professional interests include, supporting diversity in hiring, advocating for educational equity, and mentorship of marginalized youth. When she’s not working, you can catch Christina refinishing furniture or planning extensive travel. As a Boston native, she also enjoys learning all about city history and will always cheer on the home teams!
