Josh McKinney has spent 10 years in affordable housing, working as an educator and counselor to help thousands of people find safe, secure, and affordable homes. While working for a nonprofit housing organization Josh helped launch Tennessee’s first comprehensive post-purchase education program and in 2012 Josh was recognized by USDA as a valued partner for his work in providing housing education to citizens in rural communities. Josh was one of the first in the nation to become a HUD-certified housing counselor and was chosen by HUD earlier this year to help them create their Housing Counselor Knowledge Assessment Tool.
