Wynkoop Opportunity Zone Fund (WOZF) is currently building hundreds of single-family rental homes at attractive cap rates in areas with nation-leading population and job growth. These assets generate stable cashflow, which combined with strategic refinancing at still modest leverage rates, allows significant cash distributions to investors before the 10-year horizon. The Fund's manager has invested $1.5mm in WOZF.

Organization Details

Founded in 2009, Wynkoop LLC is an investment manager with $200mm AUM across a series of hedge funds, a mutual fund and real estate funds. The hedge funds focus on non-agency mortgage-backed securities. Starting in 2011, Wynkoop pioneered the institutional single-family rental business, eventually acquiring nearly 1,000 homes in Phoenix and Central Florida. Wynkoop has extensive experience managing single-family and multi-family residential housing and has developed dozens of real estate projects in the past 10 years.
