The Cargominiums Opportunity Fund LLC will complete a $6.6 million impact investment in the City of Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. The 100-bed affordable housing solution will provide safe, modern, and sustainable transitional housing for restored citizens looking for a second chance through the State of Ohioā€™s Exit Program. Cargominiums Opportunity Fund is raising $4.2 million to complete construction of the 25-unit building using 54 shipping containers. Fully permitted and shovel ready, the Cargominium construction will be completed within nine (9) months with full occupancy scheduled for April 2020. In addition to assisting our nonprofit partner NISRE, Inc., in driving down recidivism rates for ex-felons, the Cargominiums Opportunity Fund is targeting a 15.444% IRR for investors over a 10-year holding period. Interested investors are subject to verification as accredited investors under Rule 506(c) of Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933.
