Recently enacted federal tax code has created a unique opportunity to simultaneously pursue both strong investor returns and lasting positive impact on the most distressed neighborhoods in America. Opportunities like these just don't happen very often, and when they do, it is important to steward them with speed, skill, and passion. The Bedford Funds LP is a private equity fund established in 2019 to do just that. The Fund will invest in and manage a diversified portfolio of investment assets, following a unique blended investment strategy that targets Opportunity Zones throughout the United States. Bedford began fund raising in April 2019 and is targeting up to $2.0 billion.

The Fund has a multi-sector investment focus, deploying capital in the Pittsburgh region and throughout the United States. Led by a group of experienced private equity professionals with rare Opportunity Zone expertise, Bedford's team will apply the same sophisticated and innovative investment strategies to Opportunity Zones that they have deployed over the last 25 years with the goals of achieving attractive risk-adjusted rates of return and wealth creation within the neighborhoods Bedford invests.

Bedford's core objectives of investor returns, risk management through diversification, optimal OZF tax benefits, lasting impact in the communities they invest, and consistent long-term performance are designed to deliver absolute returns, uncorrelated to the public equity and bond markets. Utilizing deep expertise in alternative investments and driving change in distressed regions, Bedford remains committed to providing long-term value to its investors while simultaneously creating lasting wealth in those neighborhoods.

Built on a foundation of highest ethical standards and trust, Bedford strives in its commitment to excellence.
