DES MOINES, IA — Iowa Finance Authority’s Executive Director Dave Jamison was recently re-elected Secretary/Treasurer of the National Council of State Housing Agencies Board of Directors Executive Committee at their annual conference in Denver. Jamison was chosen by his peers to continue serving on the five-member Executive Committee.
”Housing finance agencies have built a reputation of effectiveness, accountability and success in administering and leveraging state and federal housing programs,” said Iowa Finance Authority Executive Director Dave Jamison. ”I look forward to working with my counterparts across the country to tell the housing finance agency story and position us as a resource to do even more in our respective states.”
The National Council of State Housing Agencies is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization created by the nation’s state housing finance agencies more than 40 years ago to coordinate and leverage their federal advocacy efforts for affordable housing. What began as a small group of executive directors meeting annually has grown into a powerful national association and advocate for housing finance agencies and affordable housing in Washington.
NCSHA represents its members in Washington before Congress, the Administration and the several federal agencies concerned with housing, including the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Agriculture, and the Treasury as well as other advocates for affordable housing.
