Room Reservation Policy
You must first register for the conference with NCSHA before you can make a hotel reservation within NCSHAā€™s block. The registration confirmation email you receive will include the link and code you need to make a reservation online at the conference headquarters hotel. Call-in reservations are not available for this conference.

Hotel rooms within NCSHAā€™s room block are for Legislative Conference registrants. Once registered, please do not reserve multiple hotel rooms or make reservations in the block for people who are not registered for the conference. NCSHA will review the hotel reservation lists weekly and notify people found holding duplicate reservations or reservations without corresponding registrations. Failure to register within two business days thereafter will result in cancellation of these reservations within NCSHAā€™s block without further notice.

Attire and Climate
Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference activities. In March, Washington, D.C. temperatures typically range from the mid-50s during the day to the low 30s at night. Hotel temperatures may vary; we recommend bringing a sweater or jacket for your comfort.

The Hyatt Regency Washington is 5 miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), 31 miles from Dulles International Airport (IAD) and 35 miles from Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). Approximate taxi fare is $24 from DCA, $78 from IAD, and $84 from BWI to the Hyatt Regency Washington. Travel time and fares will vary based on traffic.

Metro rail service is available between the hotel and DCA or IAD. Board the Blue or Yellow Line at DCA, or the Silver Line at IAD, and transfer to the Red Line at the Metro Center station. Take the Red Line to the Union Station Metro stop and disembark. The hotel is .4 miles southwest of Union Station.
