Connecticut Housing Finance Authority is a self-funded, quasi-public organization. Its mission is to alleviate the shortage of housing for low-to moderate-income families and persons in this state and, when appropriate, to promote or maintain the economic development of this state through employer-assisted housing efforts.

About the Position:
This position is responsible for mitigating the impact of complex under-performing, delinquent and defaulted affordable rental housing and commercial loans to maximize the recovery and minimize financial exposure by developing and recommending workout strategies. The Senior Multifamily Workout Officer will serve as the primary contact internally and externally in maintaining and managing a portfolio of high-risk loan transactions, restructuring and modifying, including pursuing workout as necessary to mitigate CHFA’s financial exposure. The Senior Multifamily Workout Officer will adhere to all compliance requirements, policies and procedures in carrying out the activities.
