Responsibilities of the LIHTC Manager
The LIHTC Manager position will be responsible for a full range of tasks associated with the administration and delegation of this federal program. The Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) is a major component of the LIHTC program. As the manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of modifications to the QAP so it meets the IRS requirements and the State’s needs. You will manage the competitive scoring process to include the preparation of the scoring timeline and manual, assigning scoring team leaders and team members, overseeing quality review team scoring decisions for executive review, and tracking scoring progress to ensure timely completion of the scoring process.
As a leader in SC Housing’s Development Division, you will work collaboratively and maintain a flow of information with members of the division team as well as other agency staff and senior leaders. You will initiate and execute various projects related to the LIHTC program. You must be able to contribute to program development and assist award recipients to develop successful strategies to complete projects. You will work closely with awarded entities to ensure projects are compliant with program requirements and are completed by the required deadlines. You will conduct yourself in a professional manner, which projects a professional and positive image of the agency at all times and is accomplished through communication, attitude and appearance. You will attend legislative, public and advocacy group meetings where you will be requested to present information related to the programs. You will foster positive working relationships, both internal and external, which displays a character of honesty, integrity, and commitment. Participates as a strategic partner with the Agency’s management team in developing and evaluating long and short term goals to ensure overall progress toward SC Housing’s mission.
