North Dakota Housing Finance Agency

BISMARCK, ND - North Dakota Housing Finance Agency's Planning and Housing Development Division Director Jolene Kline was recognized for her work as a Low Income Housing Tax Credit program administrator at the National Council of State Housing Agency's Annual Housing Credit Conference in Chicago on June 22-25.

The National Equity Fund, Inc., a tax credit syndicator, honored housing finance agency employees who have worked with the LIHTC program for 15 years or more at a special reception, and NCSHA leadership recognized the same housing professionals during the conference's opening plenary session.

"The tax credit program is our greatest producer of affordable housing in communities across the state," said NDHFA Executive Director Mike Anderson. "We are proud of North Dakota Housing's accomplishments, and I join in congratulating Jolene for her years of successful program administration."

Since the LIHTC program began in 1986, the NDHFA has allocated $30 million in tax credits resulting in the production or rehabilitation of more than 5,000 rental units for lower-income households. The private capital investment made in the 180 properties, in 43 communities statewide, is valued at $360 million dollars.

Kline has been with the NDHFA since 1985.
