New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority

 

Bedford, NH – New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority announced today that William B. Cashin has been appointed to serve as the agency’s new Board chair, and that Mary Beth Rudolph of Madbury and Michael J. Toomey of Laconia have been appointed to the Authority’s Board of Directors. The nine New Hampshire Housing Board members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Executive Council.

The Authority’s new Board chair, William B. Cashin, is a lifelong resident of Manchester. He was employed by Catholic Medical Center for 27 years while he pursued a parallel political career as Manchester’s Ward 10 Alderman. At Catholic Medical Center, he was vice president of supporting services and participated in the consolidation of Notre Dame Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospital, which formed CMC. The former alderman was dean of the Board of Mayor and Alderman for the last five years of his 32 years of service.
 
Mary Beth Rudolph of Madbury is an experienced Realtor who serves buyers and sellers within the greater seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine areas. A licensed broker in both New Hampshire and Maine, she works for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, The Masiello Group. She has 20-plus years of experience in her industry, and she was named New Hampshire Realtor of the Year for 2008.
 
Michael J. Toomey of Laconia is senior vice president of commercial lending at Franklin Savings Bank. He has more than 26 years of banking experience. He has served many volunteer and nonprofit organizations, including: the Belknap County Economic Development Council; the Lakes Region Santa Fund Trust Board of Directors; the Finance and Investment Committees of the Lakes Region Hospital; and the Capital Center Audit Committee.
 
New Hampshire Housing is a self-supporting public benefit corporation established by the state Legislature. The Authority operates a number of programs designed to assist low- and moderate-income persons with obtaining housing. Since its inception, New Hampshire Housing has helped more than 37,000 families purchase their own homes and has been instrumental in financing the creation of more than 14,000 multi-family housing units.
