Delaware SHA: 2012 Governor's Conference on Housing - Thank You

On behalf of everyone here at the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA), I would very much like to thank Secretary Shaun Donovan, Governor Jack Markell, Senator Tom Carper, Senator Chris Coons, Congressman John Carney, Mayor Carleton Carey, HUD Regional Administrator Jane Vincent and the all of the speakers for taking time out of their busy schedules to join us for the 2012 Governor's Conference on Housing.

 

I would also like to thank the Sponsors, Exhibitors, Guests, and Staff for their support.  This year's Conference was a great success with record-breaking attendence!  I hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did, and took away a sense of renewed enthusiasm in working together. The Conference focused on how we can all work together in a variety of ways to positively impact our communities and our economy, and how to create and maintain safe, sustainable affordable housing. I look forward to expanding existing partnerships and forging new ones.

 

We are extremely please that Governor Markell dedicated his weekly message to the support of affordable housing.  Please take a few moments to listen to him here. He understands, as we all do, it is imperative that we make the most of our resources – and that we can reach our goals by working together.
