    Hotel
The Nines is located at 54 Southwest Morrison in downtown Portland, Oregon. Ideally situated next to Portland’s Pioneer Square and the MAX light rail, the Nines rests atop the landmark Meier & Frank Building and is a modern homage to the structure’s storied past both in its striking decor and impeccable service. A magnificent contemporary art collection by local artists graces the lobby and each of the 331 guestrooms.

The Nines achieved LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in May 2009. To achieve this designation, the project’s developer incorporated several conservation-focused building elements, including a plumbing system that saves more than 500,000 gallons of water each year. All products used in daily housekeeping are Green Seal certified, and the hotel’s energy comes from renewable sources such as wind power. During the building process, 90 percent of the construction waste was diverted from landfills.
