    Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) Exam Sponsored by National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)

    HCCP is a specialized professional designation for developers, property managers, asset managers, and others working in the affordable housing industry. HCCP is an industry benchmark for education, experience, and ethical standards for Housing Credit professionals. All Credit professionals are eligible to take the exam; however, candidates must have two years of experience in the industry in order to obtain the HCCP designation. Candidates should be proficient in each of the testable subject areas listed in the HCCP Candidate Information Guide (available at www.nahb.org). NAHB strongly recommends that candidates have previously attended a training course offered by HCCP distributors. A list of distributors is also available in the guide.

    NCSHA’s Housing Credit Conference features a comprehensive series of sessions for both new professionals and seasoned practitioners. No advanced preparation is required for the conference; however, a basic knowledge of the Housing Credit program is necessary due to the intermediate program level. You can earn approximately 25 credits if you attend the entire conference.
