 NOTHING COMMUNICATES THE IMPORTANCE&nbsp\;of HFAs and what you do more powerfully than the faces and stories of the people you help. That&rsquo\;s why we are asking you to share them with your members of Congress during NCSHA&rsquo\;s 2011 Legislative Conference.

 The new Congress&mdash\;with its more than 100 newly elected members\, new House Republican majority\, and narrowed Senate Democratic majority&mdash\;will be examining every federal program\, as it pursues potentially dramatic deficit reduction and tax and housing finance reform. No program will escape scrutiny.
 All will be challenged to prove their value.
 &nbsp\;
 That&rsquo\;s why it is essential that you tell Congress your stories\, the stories of everyday people whose lives and communities have been transformed by homes made possible by the federal resources HFAs and your partners so effectively deliver.

 You&rsquo\;ve been writing these stories for decades\, providing millions of families affordable\, sustainable homes\, all across the country\, in good economic times and bad\, while enriching communities and the economy. But sadly\, your success stories have been overtaken lately by those of homes lost to irresponsible&nbsp\;and abusive lending practices and the collapse of the housing market.

 Come and tell your stories. Put faces on the good work that you do.
 Convince Congress to make many more Faces of Home possible.
