HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Conference headquarters is the Sheraton Boston located at 39 Dalton Street, Boston, MA 02199. NCSHA has secured a block of rooms for conference attendees at the special discount rate of $269 for a single or double room.
You must first register for the conference with NCSHA before you can make a hotel reservation within NCSHA’s block at the Sheraton. To make a reservation within the block, you will need to provide the reservation code NCSHA provides you in your registration email confirmation. Without this code, you will be unable to reserve a room at the discounted rate.
The room block will open Thursday, July 1. Make reservations well before the Friday, September 3 cutoff date to ensure availability. Call the Sheraton at 888-627-7054 to make your reservation, or follow the link provided in your registration confirmation email to book online. Please do not hold hotel rooms for people who are not registered for the conference. After Friday, September 3, NCSHA reserves the right to cancel hotel rooms held by persons not registered for the conference.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
NCSHA is pleased to offer its 2010 Annual Conference and Showplace attendees transportation between Boston Logan International Airport and the Sheraton Boston at a discounted rate. Ultimate Livery and Shuttle will offer shared van transportation for $13 each way - $5 less than their normal rate! Roundtrip tickets will cost $26. A taxi ride costs approximately $38-40 from Logan International Airport to the Sheraton Boston. From the hotel to the airport, the price decreases to $28-$30. Up to four people may share a cab.
ATTIRE & CLIMATE
Business casual attire is appropriate for all workshop activities. Cocktail attire is recommended for the President’s Reception. In early October, Boston temperatures typically range from a high of 62 degrees during the day, to a low of 46 degrees at night. Hotel temperatures may vary, so a sweater is recommended.
