    Hotel Accommodations

    Conference headquarters is the Hyatt Regency Chicago, located at 151 East Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL. NCSHA has secured a block of rooms for attendees at the special discount rate of $259 for a single or $284 for a double.

    Make reservations well before the cutoff date of Wednesday, June 2 to ensure availability. Please call the Hyatt at 888-421-1442 or 312-565-1234 to make your reservation, or follow the link provided in your registration confirmation email to book online. Please do not hold hotel rooms for people who are not registered for the conference. After Wednesday, June 2, NCSHA reserves the right to cancel rooms held by persons not registered for the conference.  

     

    Airline Discounts
    American Airlines is offering conference attendees 5 percent off applicable fares based on the type of ticket purchased.  Book online at www.aa.com  and refer to Promotion Code 8360BN. You may also call American Airlines Meeting Services Desk at 1-800-433-1790 for assistance with reservations and ticket purchase.  There is a $20.00 ticketing service charge for reservations booked via the telephone.

    Ground Transportation

    From O'Hare International Airport:
    Go Airport Express: From lower level baggage claim area. Runs daily every 15 minutes from 6:05am-11:00pm. Fares are as follows: One-way (Single traveler) - $28.00 each; One-way (Party of two) - $20.00 each; Round trip - $50.00 single; $36.00 each for party of two; Group fare (3 or more passengers traveling together to same destination)- $15.00 each; $28 each for round trip; Children under 6 years free.

     

    Taxi: Approximately $30.00 - $40.00

    Train: $2.50 per person to and from O'Hare Airport. Pick-up below baggage claim area (follow signs to C.T.A.). Take "L-Train" to Clark/Lake stop (approx. 7 blocks from hotel). Walk East on Lake to Stetson St, turn left Stetson St and walk 1 block to the hotel. Note: This method is not recommended if guest has more than 1 bag, as there are numerous escalators and turn styles. Guest can take a cab or walk from Clark/Lake stop.

    From Midway Airport:
    Airport Express: From lower baggage claim area. Fares are as follows: One-way (Single traveler) - $23.00 each; One-way (Party of two) - $16.00 each; Round trip - $40 single; $28 each for party of two; Group fare (3 or more passengers traveling together to same destination)- $13.00 each; $23 each for round trip; Children under 6 years free.

    Taxi: Approximately $30.00 - $40.00

    L Train: From the airport take the Orange Line to the State and Lake Street stop. Walk 1 block north to Wacker. Take a right on Wacker and the hotel is approximately 3 blocks.

    Amtrak (Union Station)- 1 1/2 miles - taxi approx $8.00

    Greyhound Terminal - 2 1/2 miles - taxi approx $10.00


    Attire & Climate

    Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference activities. In June, Chicago’s temperatures typically range from 80 degrees during the day to 61 degrees at night. Hotel temperatures may vary, so a sweater is recommended.
