
The National Association of Home Builders’ Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) is a specialized designation for developers, property managers, asset managers and others working in the affordable housing industry. There are nearly 1,000 active HCCPs across the U.S. Requirements: A minimum of two years experience with the LIHTC program, a passing score on the HCCP exam, ten hours of housing credit-related education and submission of a professional profile. Continuing education is required each year.
HCCPs receive a quarterly e-newsletter, receive complimentary registrations for quarterly webinars on LIHTC and other affordable housing topics, become a part of a Linkedin community to network and establish relationships and have access to LIHTC issues through NAHB.
