On December 10, NeighborWorks America released the report, “Stabilizing Neighborhoods Impacted by Concentrated Foreclosures: Scattered-Site Rental Housing Challenges and Opportunities.”

NCSHA signed on to this National Foreclosure Prevention and Neighborhood Stabilization Task Force letter sent to Senate Banking Committee Chairman Dodd (D-CT) and Ranking Member Shelby (R-AL). The letter supports a legislative fix to permit redevelopment or rehabilitation of vacant properties to qualify for the 25 percent low-income set-aside requirement under NSP.
